What are Little Boys Made of?

I always loved this nursery rhyme growing up. But the truth of it hit home this afternoon. Ms. Dori at Winston's daycare said, "I have to tell you about something Winston did today." That is never a good opening line. "He was playing with a snail...he pulled it out of its shell and ate it! I tried to get it out of his mouth before he swallowed it, but he clamped down his teeth and wouldn't open up." Another lady said, "He had snail slime all over his chin."

Charming. So in honor of Winston, here's the Rhyme in all its glory.

What are little boys made of?
Frogs and snails
And puppy-dogs' tails,
That's what little boys are made of.

What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice
And everything nice,
That's what little girls are made of.
